Experience: Preferably 1-2 years of relevant experience in a development sector especially in qualitative and quantitative research.

Job description:
The vision of Centre of Health and Social Justice is of a just and interdependent society with dignity and well-being for all. It works at promoting equitable development where governance systems are inclusive and accountable. MITRA, a team of CHSJ is currently focusing on working with men and boys for gender justice.

To support and implement the current programmes on men and boys for gender equality, CHSJ is looking for a young dynamic Research Assistant.

Some key responsibilities and deliverables for the candidate are listed below

Learning and Knowledge Management
• Coordination with field-level staff for daily activities.
• Collecting field-level data – qualitative and quantitative information.
• Conducting interviews and surveys at the field level.
• Documentation and report writing.
• Collation of progress data and reporting.
• Process performance analytics of fields with regards to social, economic, and health impacts.
• Knowledge management in the form of case studies, articles, stories, etc.

Desirable Qualities
• Good knowledge of research and research methodologies.
• Experience in working on research projects on gender and gender equality.
• Data management and data analysis-qualitative and quantitative both.
• Good communication, documentation, and social media management skills.
• Working experience in handling data on SPSS and Atlas data analysis software.

To support the current programme of MITRA with young boys and men for gender equality, CHSJ is looking for a young dynamic Programme Assistant.

Learning and Knowledge Management
• Coordination with field level staff for daily activities.
• Organise field-level meetings with communities and organise stakeholder meetings.
• Support on-ground implementation activities.
• Support the team in capacity-building initiatives.
• Documentation and data management

• Practical knowledge of community engagement and mobilisations.
• Good communication, documentation, and social media management skills.

Job description:

MITRA, a team of CHSJ is currently focusing on working with young boys and men for gender equality in India through campaigns, awareness generation and capacity building activities.

To support the current programme of MITRA with young boys and men for gender equality, CHSJ is looking for a dynamic Programme Officer.

Some key responsibilities and deliverables for the candidate are listed below

Programme Related
• Lead project implementation on the ground
• Document stories, project activities, internal and external discussions related to work areas
• Writing reports – monthly, quarterly, and annual for all major activities or events related to programmes of MITRA.
Communications and Knowledge Management
• Identifies programme related relevant information and ensures availability of information to the organisations and partner organisations
• Ensure communication of all programme related activities, events, etc. with partner organisations, networks, and other departments.
• Monitoring of activities and management of data received from the field team.
• Developing ideas, content, and other communication materials for organisational websites, social media, IEC materials, etc.

Desirable Qualities
• Strong task management skills, self-driven and result oriented.
• Knowledge and strong understanding of gender.
• Professional experience running or managing networks and campaigns
• Willing to learn and travel
• Practical knowledge of community engagement and mobilisations.
