CHSJ recognizes the significant role that research plays in shaping policies and programs aimed at promoting gender equality and improving the lives of marginalized women and girls. The organization has a dedicated team of experienced researchers and analysts who are committed to conducting high-quality research that drives meaningful change.
To ensure the rigor and relevance of their research, CHSJ works closely with partners from academia, civil society, and the private sector. Collaborating with diverse stakeholders allows CHSJ to address the specific needs of the communities they serve and ensure that their research is both rigorous and responsive.
CHSJ employs a range of research methods, including qualitative and quantitative research, impact evaluation, and mixed-methods approaches. By using these diverse methods, they generate valuable insights that are relevant, actionable, and have a tangible impact on policies and programs.
In addition to research and analysis, CHSJ also emphasizes the importance of monitoring and evaluation (M&E). By systematically tracking and assessing the outcomes and impact of their interventions, they ensure accountability and identify areas for improvement.
Capacity building is another critical aspect of CHSJ’s work. The organization helps partner organizations enhance their skills and knowledge to advance gender equality within their own organizations. Through on-site or virtual training and individualized mentoring, CHSJ supports grassroots-level organizations in designing evidence-based gender programming, integrating gender equality strategies into existing policies and programs, and developing and implementing effective M&E plans for their gender initiatives.
By focusing on research, analysis, M&E, and capacity building, CHSJ aims to empower partner organizations and enable them to drive gender equality and women’s empowerment within their respective domains.
